Views Without Money?
Views Without Money?
Being a content creator in South Africa is not as easy as it looks.
You spend time thinking of what to post, recording videos, editing them, and trying to keep your audience entertained. Sometimes, your content gets thousands of views, likes, and comments, but the money you expect doesn't come.
Isn't that frustrating?
One of the challenges some South African creators face is limited access to certain monetisation programmes. Getting views doesn't automatically mean you'll get paid, and finding brands willing to pay for promotions isn't always easy either.
The truth is, creating content takes time, effort, data, and sometimes money. Creators also have bills to pay, just like everyone else.
While some people see content creation as fun, for many creators, it's also a way to earn a living.
The big question is, what's the point of getting thousands of views if those views don't translate into money?
South African creators, let's talk! Are you earning from your content, or are you putting in the work and getting views without the financial reward?
