About Kobo Daily
The gist of Africa and the world, in plain words.
Kobo Daily covers news, trending stories and explainers from all 54 African countries and the world beyond.
## What we do
Our stories are written by contributors across the continent and checked by editors before they are published. We keep them short and clear, and we update them when the facts change.
## Who writes for Kobo Daily
Our stories come from a network of writers across Africa who report, write and fact-check them. Every story names its writer, and you can see more of their work on their writer page.
