One of the sweetest moments in Davido’s latest music video is seeing him go down on one knee to present his wife, Chioma Adeleke, with a ring. The romantic gesture has caught the attention of fans, who cannot stop talking about the couple’s chemistry.
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido released the official music video for his song ‘Already Falling’ on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. However, it is not just the music that has attracted attention. His decision to feature his wife, popularly known as Chef Chi, has become a major talking point on social media.
The Davido Already Falling video gives viewers another glimpse into the singer's love story with Chioma, years after she appeared in his popular song ‘Assurance’.
## What Happens in Davido’s New Music Video?
The Davido new music video presents a romantic storyline filled with beautiful scenery, elegant costumes and memorable moments between the couple.
The video opens with Davido arriving at a grand French chateau in a horse-drawn carriage. He is later seen performing against the backdrop of an impressive portrait of himself and Chioma.
Chioma makes an appearance in an elegant gold-and-black outfit, while Davido wears a coordinated costume.
One particularly sweet moment shows Chioma playfully touching her husband's beard. Another scene features her driving a red convertible while Davido sits beside her, singing along to the song.
However, the most talked-about scene comes towards the end when Davido kneels beside a lake and presents Chioma with a ring.
Although the scene looks like a marriage proposal, the couple are already married. They celebrated their traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024 and their white wedding in Miami later that year.
The video was directed by Meji Alabi, who also worked on Davido's 2018 hit ‘Assurance’.
## Fans React to Chioma in Davido Video
Following the release, fans took to social media to express their excitement about seeing Chioma featured prominently in the video.
Some viewers praised Davido for celebrating his wife publicly, while others admired Chioma's appearance and the romantic atmosphere of the production.
One fan described the video as another chapter of the couple's love story, while another compared it to their earlier ‘Assurance’ video.
However, not everyone was completely impressed. Some social media users questioned the song itself, suggesting that the visuals attracted more attention than the music.
Despite the mixed opinions, the Chioma in Davido video conversation has continued to attract attention from entertainment lovers.
